This image shows (relatively raw) data captured of NGC 457, “The Owl Cluster,” for PHYS 0255 Introduction to Astrophysics. Data was captured at the Middlebury College Mittelman Observatory, and used to produce an Color-Magnitude Diagram of the stars in the cluster.
